Dhaka: Appellate Division has maintained capital punishment of BNP executive Khaleda Zia from five years to 10 years in the Zia Orphanage Trust debasement case. The other 10 denounced for the situation have been sentenced for as long as 10 years.

The court rejected Khaleda Zia's allure against the exoneration of three charged.
On July 30, the expiry of the interest settlement was reached out from 31 July to 31 October.
The High Court on March 12 allowed safeguard to Khaleda Zia on March 12 after the interest against safeguard for a long time for the situation. After the interests of the ACC and the arraignment, on May 16, the court requested the settlement of the interest by July 31.
The interest hearing started on July 12.
Three detainees, including Khaleda Zia, among the six denounced for the situation. The staying three denounced are stealing away. The other two are Khaleda Zia, previous Magura MP Kazi Salimul Haque Kamal assumed name Ikona Kamal and agent Sharfuddin Ahmed.
The three are departing suddenly - BNP acting executive Tarique Rahman, previous boss secretary Dr Kamal Uddin Siddiqui and the author of BNP organizer Ziaur Rahman's nephew Mominur Rahman.

Following 11 days of the declaration of the decision, Khaleda Zia's legal counselors got the confirmed duplicate or duplicate of the judgment on February 19 evening. At that point they connected this on February 20 in the important part of the High Court.
