US researchers have created smart stickers as an easily-wearable electronic device. This device or sticker is in the same way as the skin, which can monitor the activities of the body and alert the potential risk of the disease at the end. This smart sticker has been made from cellulose, which is environmentally friendly and comfortable.
The research-related articles have been published in the 'Advanced Matterials and Interfaces' magazine.
Ramsees Martinez, Assistant Professor at the University of Paradu, has worked in creating smart stickers. He said, "For the first time we have been able to create wearable electronic devices, which can be easily applied on the skin and made of paper which is priced less. These stickers can be used as a censor and can collect patient's sleep information. It can be found in internal organs without any side effects.
