According to the source, in June the national grid added 100 million cubic feet LNG. More than 200 million cubic feet is added in phases. But to avoid the addition of new gas to Titas, instead of allocation of gas to Titas, the power development board (PDB) and fertilizer factories are allocated gas. Titas gets Petro Bangla every day, 1,600 mcff of gas The PDB has to supply 400 million cubic feet of gas from here. The gas is used in Ghorashal, Siddhirganj and various power plants. Apart from that, more than 100 million cubic feet of gas is being taken from Titas for fertilizer factory.

Today, daily production of 2,700 million cubic feet of gas from the country's gas fields At present, the demand for gas is more than 2,000 million cubic feet per day. There is a lot of demand for residential and industrial sectors. They're not going to give gas.

The Karnaphuli gas system, which is one of the highest in the 300 million cubic feet LNG, added to the national grid. Besides, Bakhrabad and Jalalabad gas systems have gone. But nothing new was added to the Titas gas system. More than 200 million cubic feet LNG will be added daily by December this year. Whether or not to give more gas to Titas, it has not yet been finalized.
