The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has conducted an operation in the capital's Dinya AK School and College after receiving additional fees for completing the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) form. Today ACC assistant director Nazmul Hasan and deputy assistant director. Shihab Salam conducted the operation.
ACC deputy director Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter in the first light.
According to the commission's complaint, the complaint was received in the Hotline (106) of the center, in order to fulfill the SSC examination form of Donia Ek School and College in Demra thana, the government has been charging Tk. 3,800 instead of the fixed rate. The complainant, the Enforcement team of the ACC, conducted an immediate operation there.
During the operation, the acting principal of the company said. Fazlul Huq admitted the incident. He said, the government has taken a fixed fee to fill the form but at the same time, taking the students from Coaching, Model Test, Teacher Welfare Fund and various sectors to the tune of Tk. 3,800. In context, now 1,113 students from this institution are taking part in SSC examinations.
Members of the ACC team immediately informed the secondary education officer of the Demra Regional Police Station thana, who have been receiving extra money in the name of coaching fees, model tests, teacher welfare and various expenses.
In order to submit the report to the Commission, ACC officials collect photocopies of Fayer's additional money-related register.
Regarding the operation, ACC Director General (Resistance) Sarwar Mahmud said, "The commission will continue the campaign against such activities."
