Train movement between Dhaka and Bangabandhu Bridge (East) railway station is in progress. Tangail Commuter-1 and 2 will travel a couple of trains from Thursday to Thursday.
It will start its formal journey from the Kamalapur station on Thursday. A press release from the railway ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the press release, the demand for Tangail people has been fulfilled due to the commencement of the train movement as per Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's commitment. The train will leave Dhaka at 5:20 pm and reach Bangabandhu Bridge (East) at 8:30 pm. The Bangabandhu Bridge (East) Railway Station will leave at 6.00 am and reach Dhaka at 8:50 am.
Tangail commuter train will move with 10 coaches. Earlier this train was informed in the notification as the train was traveling between Turag-Dhaka-Joydevpur.
