The moon of 1440 Hijri year Rabiul Aulal was found in the sky in Bangladesh. Thus, the checking of blessed Rabi'ul Awal months will begin from Saturday (November tenth). As needs be, on 21 November blessed Eid will observe Miladunnabi (harmony arrive).
The choice was taken at a national moon locating panel meeting on Friday (ninth November).
National moon locating advisory group meeting was hung on Friday evening in the corridor of Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukarram. Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Anisur Rahman managed the gathering.
The gathering evaluated the moon sight of 1440 Hijri year Rabiul Awal with the data got from all the region organization, Islamic Foundation's Head Office, Divisional and District Offices, Bangladesh Meteorological Department and aviation research and remote detecting establishment.
Joint Secretary of the Cabinet Division Khalilur Rahman, Joint Secretary for Religious Affairs Hamid Jamadder, Information Secretary Joint Secretary Nazrul Islam, Additional Chief Information Officer Fazle Rabbi, Dhaka District's ADC (General) Shahiduzzaman, Islamic Foundation Secretary Kazi Nurul Islam and others were available at the gathering.
