Liaquat-Aminul hanged for wrongdoings against mankind


Worldwide Crimes Tribunal has given capital punishment to Liaquat and Aminul for association in violations against mankind like capturing, murder, slaughter amid freedom war. The Tribunal seat of the International Crimes Tribunal headed by Justice Shahinur Islam on Monday reported the decision. 

The convicts are - Habibganj previous leader of Lakhai Thana Awami League Liaquat Ali and Aminul Islam pseudonym Rajab Ali of Ashgram upazila of Kishoreganj region. 

Amid the decision, the court said the sentence was granted to seven charged for the situation. 

Prior, the court director Justice Shahinur Islam began perusing the decision of 312 on Tuesday. 

It is found out from the charge sheet that Liaquat Ali was the leader of the Awami League from 2003 to 2013. On account of a president, he was sued in 2010 for atrocities. At that point on December 27, 2015, the Tribunal researching organization gave the examination report of the case. 

The examination report said that amid the Liberation War of 1971, the two blamed, Lakhai of Habiganj locale, Brahmanbaria's Nasirnagar and Kishoreganj were executed amid the War of Liberation. 

Prior on May 18, 2016, the council issued warrant against the two war culprits. The round was distributed in daily papers since they couldn't be captured. The court at long last chose to proceed with the preliminary by demonstrating to them the fleeing.
